Your Role and Responsibilities

  • The security consultant support clients in Assess, Implement, and Optimize the posture of their network security environments to mitigate security risks (e.g., insider and external threats, intentional and accidental). Position is for an experienced security professional with demonstrated experience within Network Security and Zero Trust architecture.
  • Perform Network Security maturity assessments, formulate roadmaps to bridge existing security gaps and help accelerate transformation towards Zero Trust architecture.
  • Advise clients on Zero Trust, including development of high-level and low-level architecture designs, recommended security controls in addition to:
  • Reviewing network architecture and determining if good practices are being followed (e.g., the “zones & conduits” concept, proper network segmentation, use of Industrial DMZ, etc.); and providing recommendations to comply with applicable cybersecurity framework.
  • Reviewing security products utilized (e.g., firewalls, IDS, IPS) and determining if they are configured properly.
  • Deploying network infrastructure devices (e.g., switches, routers, etc.), security appliances (e.g., firewalls, IDS, etc.), and virtualization solutions.
  • Reviewing security policies, plans, and procedures; assessing network monitoring capabilities; analyzing system logs, security events, and packet captures to identify security threats; and providing recommendations to comply with applicable cybersecurity framework.
  • Help clients implement network security controls necessary for Zero Trust architecture.
  • Take ownership of end-end technical delivery of network security work for client and ensure what's sold is getting delivered to satisfaction of client.
  • A willingness to go beyond the ordinary to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Support network security opportunity creation and development of client presentations and SOWs.
  • Establish strong client relationships in key accounts to help progress the security services portfolio.
  • Contribute content and advice to the offering development process.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Candidates should possess proven record in advising on Network Security and Zero Trust at the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and/or Senior Security Manager levels and be recognized for business as well as technical acumen.
  • A minimum of 5 years “hands-on” experience assessing, designing, and implementing Zero Trust Network Access architecture.
  • Experience in delivering network security maturity assessments including development of assessment report and roadmap to bridge existing security gaps.
  • As a technical lead/architect, successfully transforming traditional network security environment to a Zero Trust architecture including cloud integrations.
  • Deep knowledge in Zero Trust architecture and associated frameworks (E.g., NIST SP 800-207, CISA’s Zero Trust Maturity Model)
  • The candidate must have exceptional communication and presentation skills as well as must be a self-starter and always exhibit professional business conduct.
  • Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills at both a technical and non-technical level.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%, depending on client requirements.
  • Excellent customer service and communication (oral / written) skills required.
  • English: Fluent
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to think “out of the box” required.
  • Must be able to work independently or with a team, under minimum supervision.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • MBA or master’s degree
  • At least 2-year experience in information security consulting working for International Recognized consulting firms.
  • A minimum of 5 years hands on experience with one or more of the following areas:
  • Assess, Advise, and Implementation of Palo Alto solutions including:
  • Thorough knowledge of Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall, Prisma Access and Cloud.
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), and Prisma Certified
  • Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE).
  • Assess, Advise, and Implementation of Fortinet solutions including:
  • Thorough knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiClient, Endpoint Management Server, FortiAuthenticator, and FortiNAC.
  • Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) 8 .
  • Assess, Advise, and Implementation of Zscaler solutions including:
  • Thorough knowledge of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Zscaler Cloud Protection (ZCP)
  • Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional - Internet Access (ZCCP-IA), and Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional - Private Access (ZCCP-PA) .
  • Assess, Advise, and Implementation of Configuration Governance solutions including:
  • Thorough knowledge of one or more of the following technologies FireMon, Skybox, or Algosec including how to operationalize ongoing security configuration governance service using one of above technologies. Service includes automated approval flows, validation of policy compliance, vulnerability exposure.
