Your Role and Responsibilities

A Communications Professional with proven experience and background supporting global business strategies ideally in the IT space. We’re looking for someone who excels at creativity and being resourceful — and who is incredibly curious. You need to be jazzed by technology, culture change, and working with colleagues globally to help craft and share the Kyndryl story, while inspiring the broader Kyndryl employee base to understand and embrace the changes we are undergoing.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all communications and messaging in support of Kyndryl’s Marketing team
  • Responsible for creating and developing content in support of the Kyndryl Marketing leadership team’s strategies, objectives and initiatives for both Kyndryl internal and external consumption
  • Must at all times ensure that all communications are reflective of Kyndryl’s ethics, beliefs and core values
  • You must be a terrific writer and presentation builder, and quick to embrace contemporary communications approaches - to meet employees where they are
  • You must also be a great storyteller, customer-centric, data-driven, results oriented, and able to navigate the complexities of developing multi-channel communications that appeal to multiple audiences
  • You must be constantly aware of our multi-cultured, multi-located employee base and structure all communications accordingly as required
  • The role requires good executive presence and the ability to create communications strategies
  • Executive & program communications support for initiatives sponsored by the Kyndryl Marketing team is also part of the scope
This role has the flexibility to work 1-2/days a week remotely and needed to work in New York, NY, office part of the week.

If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $89,030 to $203,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
If this is a sales role, you may be eligible for additional incentive compensation opportunities. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for Kyndryl’s Growth Driven Profit-Sharing plan.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum of 7+ years of formal communications experience, including internal/employee communications and media relations
  • Required skills include executive communications, feature writing, speech writing and video production
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude and the ability to multitask and prioritize key projects
  • Be results driven and comfortable working to planned and aggressive deadlines
  • Possess strong attention to detail, with very strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Be creative and have the ability to collaborate productively and build relationships with team members across all levels of the organization
  • Be able to convey the impact of technology changes through storytelling across multiple mediums
  • Be empathetic with an understanding of how messaging may be received and interpreted by different stakeholders, with an ability to formulate clear and concise messaging even in sensitive situations
  • Possess insight and knowledge of communications best practices and techniques

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Experience in executive communications preferred.
  • Experience working on large-scale transformations is preferred
  • A solid understanding of the IT sector would be advantageous.
  • Marketing exposure beneficial
