Design/build open programmable infrastructure that facilitates provisioning of network abstractions from a DevSecOps pipeline. Design/build network functions on virtualized compute (firewalls, load-balancers, etc.) Integrate orchestration and performance optimization. Network segmentation, security, and control with policy-based automation. Connect multi-hypervisor environments, remote data centers, public and private clouds.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• SD-WAN: Design/build wide area network topologies that seamlessly connect branch offices, data centers, public and private clouds, SaaS providers, and customer environments with strong security and high availability.
• Optimize performance and availability through dynamic route selection.
• Configure application-aware routing, all in accordance with business needs.
• Cloud Networking Design and build virtual private cloud configurations to support isolation, security and interconnectivity with other clouds and enterprise sites: availability zones, address management, routing, name resolution, distributed load balancing, application gateways, remote access.
• Design and execute network transformations for workload migrations between clouds
• Next-gen Wireless - 5G and Beyond Design and build private 5G networks for IoT, Industry 4.0 and Edge Computing applications.
• Implement the virtualized network functions that control the radio network.
• Implement network slicing.
• Implement the automation and orchestration components. Integrate with the packet core transport and other SD-constructs that compose the enterprise hybrid network.
• Traditional Networking Design and build services related to legacy network infrastructure and wide-area interconnectivity (routing and switching, unified communications, etc.
• 5-10 years of experience in networking, network transformation and security.
• This person will lead a technical team (SOC/NOC), should have 2 years of experience as a leader.
• SDN / SD-WAN project implementation experience.
• On premise to cloud network migrations experience.
• Also Next-gen Wireless - 5G and Beyond Design and build private 5G networks for IoT, Industry 4.0 and Edge Computing applications and Technical Expertise

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Integrate with the packet core transport and other SD-constructs that compose the enterprise hybrid network.
• Edge Computing Edge is a multi-layer play that spans the entire application stack and requires the skillful integration of multiple layers of technologies and IBM capabilities.
• Kyndryl designs and builds infrastructure / facilities, the cloud platform (e.g., OpenShift), Edge Middleware, private 4G/5G wireless, IoT device registration, hybrid network integration, and complementing managed services. Traditional Networking Design and build services related to legacy network infrastructure and wide-area interconnectivity (routing and switching, unified communications, etc.)
