Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an IT Security Consultant who’s able to design and implement comprehensive infrastructure security solutions. The candidate should have proven capabilities in below listed areas (focus is desired)Security strategy and architecture:
- Design and implementation of a security strategy and organization
- Network security including LAN, WAN and SDN technologies
- Identity and Access Mgmt. with authorization and authentication concepts and technologies
- Infrastructure and endpoint security to advice towards concepts, architectures, tools and concepts for MDM and endpoint
- Hybrid-and Multicloud Security to ensure secure cloud environments with cloud specific aspects e.g., ISO 27017, BSI C5
- SIEM Management consultancy and support to define SIEM concepts and best of breed solutions
- Technology compliance and risk to obtain security certifications / perform readiness checks in terms if ISMS, ISO 27000 or BSI
Responsibilities:
The main responsibility is to conduct client facing consultancy and advisory in the broader area of IT Security:
- Drive scope definition, identify security requirements / threats and compliance demands to design risk mitigating solutions
- Create solutions that balance business, functional and non-functional requirements with company information, compliance and security requirements
- Ensure solutions are realized in time frame committed; work in conjunction with project sponsors and security teams to size and manage scope and risk
- Provide support and technical guidance related to cloud security with strong communication skills to diverse audiences
- Design secure and threat safe cloud-based solutions for organizations migrating and modernizing their existing workloads and infrastructure to cloud environments
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to customers, security / audit functions and project teams
- Demonstrate knowledge of cloud and security architecture implementation, including SecDevOps tool chains and processes
- Develop innovative security architectures and controls, evaluate alternatives, identify integrative services and develop cost estimates
- Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
- Advise on protective, detective, reactive, and monitoring methodologies and associated solutions
- Conduct system security and vulnerability tests, analyses and risk assessments
- Maintain industry knowledge on emerging security practices, technology and cyber security regulation
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Practical background in consulting roles as well as designing and implementing security infrastructure and architectures / controls in Multi- and Hybrid Cloud Environments
- Knowledge of security controls, such as SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, PKI, IDAM, AV, WAF, DLP, EDR, DAST/SAST, Vulnerability Management, Thread Intelligence, Security Automation and application controls
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Experience with one or more of the following standards: ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITECH, SOX, KRITIS, CIS or SOC2
- One or more security certification, e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CASP+, CCSP or CCSK
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
