General Legal Counsel. Attorney with 5-10 years experience in complex contract drafting and negotiations. Admitted to practice in a US jurisdiction. Preferred location for the candidate who will fill this opening will be in the NYC metro area.

As Kyndryl Counsel you will work directly with the Kyndryl operations, procurement, sales, and other business functions to provide well-reasoned commercial and contract guidance for Kyndryl’s relationships with our suppliers, Clients, and third parties, based upon established policies, guidelines, applicable regulations, and the application of your trusted professional judgment in a flat, fast, collaborative, and “hands-on” working environment. You will participate in or lead significant and complex contract negotiations, draft and revise contract terms, facilitate compliance with established contracting policies, practices, regulations, and delegations, and participate in broader forward-looking strategies to keep Kyndryl at the cutting edge of Managed Infrastructure Services. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, self-motivated, and creative thinking individual with well-developed oral and written communication skills. This role demands the ability to establish positive working relationships with key senior internal stakeholders and with Kyndryl's suppliers, Clients, and third parties, and the ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with all levels of internal and external clients. The abilities to disagree without being disagreeable, create win-win solutions, focus on solving problems, articulate principled justifications for your positions, and build consensus toward a common goal are all key to success in this role and the Kyndryl Legal Department. Regular responsibilities include: · Representing Kyndryl in establishing relationships, negotiating, and resolving disputes with Kyndryl’s suppliers, Clients, and third parties. · Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex transaction agreements. · Assisting with establishing and managing, or responding to, competitive bids. · Identifying and mitigating issues and risks, with an appreciation of the Managed Infrastructure Services business. · Providing legal advice regarding US laws and regulations, and working with colleagues and outside counsel to secure legal advice in subject matters and jurisdictions outside of your expertise. · Assisting with and advising on ongoing contracts, including but not limited to contractual obligations and the resolution of contract related disputes. · Coordinating with other company functions (e.g., Operations, Procurement, Delivery, Trust & Compliance, Tax and Accounting) to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. · Analyzing and and interpreting basic financial data and business concepts, applying legal expertise and good business judgment in the context of “real world” business operations and the acquisition and provision of information technology services, and assessing and advising stakeholders on the impact of alternative courses of action.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position $151,300 to $314,100 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
