Your Role and Responsibilities

Specialty Sales Executive, Digital Workplace

The Digital Workplace Service team member is responsible for assisting in the solutioning and selling of both project and managed services contracts to Fortune 500 clients across the Global.

As a part of the Global Center of Competency (CoC) you will be responsible for driving pipeline, coordinating with business partners and local account leadership, and providing feedback to the Offering Team. You will also assist in the development and progression of new client sales opportunities, work with solution architects to design DWS solution recommendations for their clients and provide technical sales assistance to other sellers involved in opportunity pursuits. While primarily focused on large opportunities within a seller’s region, this role is part of a global team and may get involved in opportunities anywhere around the world.


You will develop and lead the execution of effective solution strategies to convince clients of the business value of the DWS proposal while providing clear differentiation over competitors. This includes establishing strong working relationships with local account teams who will typically own the client relationship.

Job responsibilities:

  • Act the sales focal for Digital Workplace Services opportunities around the globe

  • Engage on new opportunities to communicate the capabilities and value of our offering at both the technical and executive levels within our clients’ organizations

  • Lead or assist in new sales opportunity development and qualification in partnership with client account teams and other Kyndryl sellers

  • Provide technical sales assistance to other sellers who are less familiar with the DWS offering

  • Lead or assist in the development and presentation of client proposals

  • Team with solution architects and partners in the development of the technical solution which best meets the client’s needs

  • Help qualify sales opportunities and determine if they are appropriate to pursue

  • Assist in the development of an opportunity pricing approach that will position Kyndryl competitively with the client while ensuring profitable business

  • Cross-sell and up-sell based on understanding of customer business needs

  • Work collaboratively with other teams across Kyndryl and with our CCaaS partner(s)

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • Deep experience and a solid understanding of competitors in the CCaaS, CRM, Cloud industry

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience solutioning CCaaS and 5-8 years’ overall service sales experience

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team selling environment and with external partners

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

10+ years of solution experience
5+ years of experience focused on digital workplace solutions
Competitive knowledge of the Microsoft products and transformation to the Modern Workplace and alternative solutions
Working knowledge of end user computing and device lifecycle management processes and supporting technologies
Proven ability to develop solution strategies and provide subject matter expertise within a larger deal team in a highly matrix environment
Proven ability on solutioning and Architecting Microsoft 365 services but not limited to Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power platform, Azure Virtual Desktop , Intune.
Experience in solutioning or architecting Active Directory or Azure Active Directory.
Track record of working effectively with IT executives across business and finance disciplines, ability to develop effective value positions that align with client requirements and business strategies
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and ability generate client materials for presentations
Ability to travel up to 50%
