Your Role and Responsibilities

Kyndryl CIO – The Platform and Resiliency organization is seeking Associate Developers to provide development support for the Kyndryl hosting environment, as Kyndryl migrates and redeploys its application portfolio to a new environment.

This role is focused on designing and developing “steady state” technical solutions within the Azure hyperscale environment. Among other responsibilities, the developers looking to apply their skills in a fast-growing company, will be translating application teams’ requirements, understanding their circumstances, and executing project services to support the design and implementation of converged infrastructure solutions, in order to deliver smooth operations, consolidate and protect workloads.

Our Associate developers support development teams in the face of new requirements and provide diagnosis and resolution of errors in both production environments (Incident handling) and non-production environments (support to development / testing teams). They review of logs, assembly and execution of unit tests of services, while working with implementations in all environments in an autonomous way, with the ability to self-manage on a day-to-day basis.

To be an associate programmer at Kyndryl you should be ready to be hands on from technical solutioning, project Startup, implementation, and project closure.

To be successful in this role, one must demonstrate experience and/or knowledge in:
  • Service architectures for the development
  • Integration, transformation and communication between platforms
  • Migration processes and technological renovation of systems

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• English - Advanced/Fluent (Able to write and communicate with global team)
• University graduated in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related field.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience with Javascript and Loopback
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in cloud development and operations, on enteprise-grade systems
• Experience in coding to REST APIs, using JSON, designing REST APIs, etc.
• Experience with Agile software development and release engineering (branching, versioning, tagging) with tools such as GitHub
• Experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI
• Experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Java, Ruby, Node.js, PHP, or Python
